FINANCE MANAGER
Start date: ASAP

As Finance Manager, you will have the opportunity to work across two luxury fine jewellery brands within our company portfolio: Bibi van der Velden & Auverture.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance within the company portfolio. You will be empowered to implement change, processes and make your mark on both businesses.

Responsibilities:
- Providing strategic financial direction for both businesses
- Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Monthly reporting to the board
- Bookkeeping and payroll
- Invoicing
- Debit and credit management
- Coordinating with tax authorities
- Daily reconciliations of invoices and outstanding payments
- Utilise & enhance paperwork systems on-site to improve our efficiency
- Collating information across the two businesses within the group
- Dealing with colleague queries and expenses payments
- Manage external accountants and fiscal advisors

Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English
- 3-5 years of finance management in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using and implementing finance automation tools
- Highly numeric with sound technical skills
- Strong attention to detail and prioritisation skills
- Experience using G-Suite, Twinfield or other accounting software
- Hands-on, but able to provide strategic financial direction

DIGITAL MARKETING INTERN
Start date: Feb 2022 
Duration: 5-6 months

We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive-thinker with great communication skills to join our Marketing team at Bibi van der Velden in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate is a highly organised self-starter who is digital-savvy and capable of working cross-functionally on multiple levels within digital marketing, including but not limited to email marketing, e-commerce, as well as strategic projects. During the internship, you will be exposed to various digital marketing channels, alongside e-commerce operations and analytics.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager on digital campaign planning, execution and analytics across channels
- Assist with daily operational tasks in various online channels including web, social media, SEO/SEA, CRM, email marketing
- Research on competitor, market insights, and trends
- Bring fresh, creative ideas to boost performance
- Help team during events or with organisational tasks around the studio


Qualifications:
- Strong English writing skills
- Comfortable using social media such as Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office package
- Curious and detail-oriented
- Hands-on mentality
- Works in a structured and timely manner
- Affinity for fine jewellery and/or fashion sector


Education:
- Completed or currently studying within the fields of business, marketing or creative subjects

PRODUCT & SALES INTERN
Start date: Jan/Feb 2022 
Duration: 5-6 months

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Product & Sales Intern to join our team in Amsterdam. In this internship, you will delve into all facets of product, including assisting product development, production, procurement, repairs, inventory, and logistics, alongside supporting the sales and finance teams. 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Assist jewellery production for all retail/private client/bespoke orders on a daily basis

- Assist design processes; jewellery product development, working closely with designers, modellers (CAD, hand wax modelling), and stone selection, to ensure best possible outcome within target price

- Help analyse sales/trends/assortment to propose collection additions and eliminations

- Assist logistics of international jewellery shipments

- Help with order fulfilment (including packaging etc.)

- Assist in inventory management, including inputting new items from production and day-to-day stock movements for sales, trunkshows, press, etc.

- Coordinate all repairs and resizing locally and internationally

- Coordinate fine metals hallmarking for all items in NL or UK

- Support sales teams with product information (certificates, product care booklets), and all product availability and lead time inquiries

- Maintain and develop supplier and manufacturer relationships, including negotiating service agreements, payment terms and preparation of NDA’s

- Overall help to the BVDV team!

Qualifications:

- Completed or currently studying within the fields of business, marketing or creative subjects
- Comfortable using Photoshop and InDesign
- Knowledge of Excel
- English language
- Jewellery illustration is a plus
