Público May issue

This month I am honoured to be featured in the Portuguese Público newspaper:

"I am very happy on my little mountain in Malveira da Serra, looking out over the sea. When I am not in the studio designing the pieces of my eponymous brand, I can be found on the waves where I get my inspiration from. I love to create something that has more than one function and that people can have fun with.

For me jewellery represents goals and achievements in people's lives. Often they are also pieces that are passed on from generation to generation, whether it's a grandfather's wedding ring or earrings that were her mothers. They all represent stories connected with life, death and marriage. It’s a little bit like tattoos and scars."
