CHARLIE BRAVEHEART FOUNDATION
In 2017, at the age of 5, our daughter Charlie was diagnosed with childhood acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, or ALL. While Charlie has since recovered from this dreadful illness, her resilience during and after her treatment continues to inspire me to no end.
In light of the challenges she faced, my family and I founded the Charlie Braveheart Foundation, with the mission to make treatments for children in hospitals as non-coercive, stress-free, and painless as possible.
The Foundation invests in research and customised education in healthcare to help medical staff properly guide children during their medical treatment.
