Fine wine and fine jewellery – is there a better pairing? The guests who visited my trunk show with Tayloe Piggott Jewelry in the US mountain resort of Jackson Hole, Wyoming in February got to experience an evening that was an elegant fusion of the two.
We got together with Tayloe Piggott Jewelry and Jackson Hole Winery to host the event, where guests sampled wines, while perusing pieces that included those from my newest collection, Memento Mori. There, guests browsed ornate designs such as my Big Tulip Ring, crafted to resemble a flamboyant, decaying tulip in 18k yellow gold, set with pink and red sapphires, green tsavorites, and rock crystal maggots and caterpillars. Another favourite of guests was my Tree of Life Pendant, that captures an 18k yellow gold tree in rock crystal, with the tree embellished with green tsavorites and brown diamonds.
You can find my pieces at Tayloe Piggott Jewelry here, including the capsule collection I designed for the boutique. Among the highlights is this sweet Bear Ear Hugger, inspired by the bears who roam Wyoming’s mountain ranges.
